Greg & Hillary Say “I Do!”

Oh my heart! Going through photos to create this post really brought out so many emotions!  Being able to capture Greg and Hillary’s wedding day was a wonderful experience for me. As with all weddings, I photograph, I never get through the day without shedding a few happy tears. But knowing these two as well as I do, I made things extra special. From the moment Hillary stepped into her dress, to watching Greg’s Mom tinker with his tie before the first look, it was a perfect fall day in Colorado.

Their wedding was at Deer Creek Valley Ranch, a gorgeous mountain venue less than an hour outside the city. Think crisp air, leaves changing, and beautifully rich fall colors, along with horse-drawn carriages and you get the magical feeling of the day. Wendie Bass helped design the day and allowed everything to run smoothly so we could focus on being present with these two lovely people. Her assistant even helped me climb up on a rock to get the perfect shot of them after the ceremony! Everything from the heartfelt speeches, the raucous dancing, the room filled with laughter, and the glow-stick send-off, made for the most exquisite day.  Thank you, Greg and Hillary, for letting me be your shutterbug.
