How'd I do it?

I've been asked many times over the years how I create the images that I do, so I am finally taking the time to sit down and explain how I am able to create beautiful images like this one - and here's the kicker, I use things from thrift stores, or what I already have on hand that's usually cheaply and expeditiously purchased and sent from Amazon.

Lorem Ipsum

We self-colored my daughter Sloane Lopez's hair after a multi-day bleaching extravaganza where we went through the process of removing old black hair dye.  Sloane used multiple fashion colors to create this radiant look that was featured in Dye Magazine.

We used Arctic Fox in Aquamarine and Purple Rain, in addition to Iroiro Aquamarine and 70 Pink.   The Arctic Fox rendered a subtle hint of color which left Sloane feeling a little disappointed, however the Iroiro colors popped and smell delicious!

The key is to a successful photo shoot is to not think too much about it. Yes, plan things out and have a concept in mind, but things can and will always go sideways.  Also, you don't need a big budget.  I created these images with items I already had on hand.  The dress I had bought four years ago to wear to an art opening, the crown was purchased for another shoot and has been used many times before, and the corset is something that I already had on hand.  Every single item was originally purchased on Amazon, and can be found below!
