Julia’s Senior Session | Dreyfoos

First of all, I was VERY excited about this senior photo shoot with Julia. We had originally planned her session for earlier in the summer, but her tight schedule before heading to the Boston ballet summer program combined with the crazy Florida weather, caused things to be delayed. The upside is that I had weeks to scout locations for her shoot.

While brainstorming for Julia’s shoot she sent photos of her different tutu’s and costumes. After seeing them, I decided I wanted to photograph her on the water of West Palm Beach. I was able to let my imagination run wild knowing she would be able to beautifully dance wherever I took her.

As typical a typical Florida day unfolded, we had rain all morning, but luckily the skies cleared moments before she arrived giving us the perfect photographic atmosphere.  A hazy and cloudy day has always been my favorite climate to shoot in.  Case in point, Julia’s glowing skin from every single image, giving this beautiful ballerina even more radiance. She is a stunner!
