I was first contacted by Miia to photograph her and Jamie’s elopement at the beginning of the year. As we all know COVID shut down the entire world and unfortunately, our session was postponed several times, but luckily they were still able to tie the knot in the meantime. Jamie is a pilot and a Miia is a nurse, so linking their busy schedule for a photoshoot was tough, but we finally made it happen! They wanted to be photographed in the area where they had first met in Boynton Beach, but shortly before our scheduled date, their hotel canceled and Miia scrambled to find a new location. Luckily she was able to book a room at the gorgeous Tideline Resort and Spa in Lake Worth. After all the ups and downs, and change of plans, we met on the beach at 6:30 am just as the sun was rising and we were graced with a spectacular pink sunrise. It was almost like it was our reward for waiting so long! We had planned to capture some underwater shots, and the pool at the hotel was the perfect location. I absolutely love how their images turned out, and am so grateful they chose me to capture their memories!
